NOW SHOWING:
CHOW'S PLAY x MSC
Hello.
So glad you found this place. Was it something I wrote? Say, did it have anything to do with penguins that eat pancakes, an unstoppable toy pianist, art-devouring eyes, cool kids of separated folks, noodle-hunting or playing house? Or perhaps you were simply trying to figure out what's for lunch. Fair enough. Because...
MEET THE AUTHOR
IN HER LIFE, Lai Chow has amassed an uncountable volume of writings about pop culture, art, entertainment and advertising for close to two decades while wearing her journalist hat. She is the creator of National Gallery Singapore's Art for Tinies board book series (2020), Catch Mee If You Can (2022) with Epigram Books, Penguins Eat Pancakes (2022) with Droll Books, Becoming Margaret Leng Tan (2023) with Marshall Cavendish, and more. She is often found sneaking surprise notes to her irrepressible daughter.
BOOK A VISIT
ARE YOU a school teacher or librarian looking to infuse a touch of book magic into your students' lives? Meeting an author in real life can be a wonderful experience for children and inspire them to read—and write! Depending on duration, author availability and your school's requirements, an author visit with Lai Chow may comprise storytelling with themed games and activities thrown in for good measure. Children can have their books signed in-person and ask anything they want about what it's like to be an author. Writing/ doodling workshops, assembly talks and speaking engagements can be arranged. Book an author visit today for the foreseeable future!
